Project: Vandenberg Blvd. to Hwy 5

Location: Jacksonville, AR

Year: 2017

Detail: The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department awarded Weaver-Bailey the $79 million contract to reconstruct and widen 4.6 miles of Hwy. 67 in Pulaski and Lonoke counties. The project called for widening both northbound and southbound lanes to 3 lanes and required approximately 325,000 square yards of concrete (12” thick) and 66,000 linear feet of barrier wall.

Location: Benton, AR  

Year: 2016

Detail: The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department awarded Weaver-Bailey the $14 million roadway improvement project along Alcoa Road. The construction consisted of excavation, embankment, widening and railroad crossings.

Project: I-430/I-630 Interchange Modifications (Phase III) “Big Rock Interchange”

Location: Little Rock, AR

Year: 2010

Detail: The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department awarded the joint venture of Weaver-Bailey and Manhattan Road & Bridge the $78 million contract to construct Phase III Interchange improvements at I-430/I-630. Weaver-Bailey’s portion of the project required 141,286 square yards of 13” thick concrete and 41,460 linear feet of retaining wall. Additionally, the preparatory items of removal and disposal of existing concrete, earthwork preparation and subgrade. This portion along with Manhattan Road & Bridge work became known as the “Big Rock Interchange.”

Project: Modification to the I-430/I-630 Interchange (Phase I)

Location: I-430/I-630 Interchange

Year: 2008

Detail: The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department awarded Weaver-Bailey the $17 million contract to construct Phase I Interchange improvements at I-430/I-630 which consisted of widening the I-40 main line pavement and reconstructing the interchange ramps for 1.83 miles.  This project included over 49,000 sq. yds. of 13" concrete paving, approximately 31,000 linear ft. of concrete barrier wall and 25,575 linear feet of retaining wall.

Project: Saline Co. Line to Otter Creek Road

Location: Little Rock, AR

Year: 2011

Detail: The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department awarded Weaver-Bailey the $10 million contract to reconstruct the highway from the Saline Co. Line to Otter Creek Road. This project involved removal of existing bridge structures, shoring for bridge replacement and approximately 3,000 cubic yards of concrete.

Project: Construction of Conway Municipal Airport

Location: Conway, AR

Year: 2014

Detail: The city of Conway, AR awarded Weaver-Bailey the $30 million contract to construct its new Municipal Airport. The design included a 5,500 ft. x 100 ft. runway and a full-length parallel taxiway. Weaver-Bailey was involved in the construction of the Runway, Taxiway, T-Hangars, Corporate Hangars and Terminal Area Development. The plans required 198,000 square yards of concrete pavement and 1.1 million cubic yards of earthwork.

1503 - Little Rock Airport

Project: Taxiway “A” and Taxiway “B” Rehabilitation  

Location: Little Rock, AR

Year: 2015

Detail: The Little Rock Airport Commission awarded Weaver-Bailey the contract to rehabilitate Taxiway “A” and Taxiway “B” at the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport. The project was completed in 6 different phases and required 79,829 square yards of concrete.

Project: Reconstruction of Hwy. 67 (Kiehl Ave.) to Hwy. 440

Location: North Little Rock, AR

Year: 2010

Detail: The Arkansas Highway Department awarded Weaver-Bailey the $10 million contract to reconstruct and widen 1.354 miles of Hwy. 67 in Pulaski County.  The project consisted of grading, placing aggregate base course, placing ACHM binder and surface courses, placing concrete pavement, minor drainage structures, signs, and erosion control measures.

Project: 35 & 36th Streets Noise Barrier Wall

Location: North Little Rock, AR

Year: 2003

Detail: Weaver-Bailey acted as a subcontractor on a $4.5 million project awarded by the Arkansas Highway Department to install over 6,000 linear ft. of noise barrier wall in North Little Rock along 35th and 36th streets.

 

0908 - CAT Grader Plant

Project: CAT North America - Grader Plant

Location: North Little Rock, AR  

Year: 2010

Detail: Weaver-Bailey, acting as a subcontractor, was awarded a contract to construct a new Caterpillar Motor Grader plant. The contract required over 55,000 sq. yds. of 8" concrete paving,  4,615 linear ft. of curb and gutter and 720 linear ft. of concrete barrier wall at the new North Little Rock facility.

 

0903 - Taxiway “D” Rehabilitation

Project: Little Rock National Airport - Taxiway “D” Rehabilitation

Location: Little Rock National Airport

Year: 2009

Detail: The Little Rock National Airport awarded Weaver-Bailey the contract to rehabilitate Taxiway “D”. This project included 25,267 square yards. of 13.5" concrete paving, 11,371 of 8" cement treated base, extensive runway lighting improvements, and various other associated items.

 

0806 - Runway 18 Extension

Project: Little Rock National Airport - Runway 18 Extension

Location: Little Rock National Airport

Year: 2008

Detail: The Little Rock National Airport awarded Weaver-Bailey the contract to extend Runway 18. This project required 1100’ x 150’ of concrete with four 265’ taxiway extensions. Additionally, two perimeter roads and various drainage upgrades were constructed.

Project: Supermarine of Little Rock National Airport

Location: Little Rock National Airport

Year: 2008

Detail: The Little Rock National Airport awarded Weaver-Bailey the contract to expand the general aviation ramp for Supermarine. This project included installation of reinforced concrete box culverts and extensive drainage improvements. It also required both asphalt and concrete paving.

Project: Broadway Widening

Location: North Little Rock, AR

Year: 2007

Detail: The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department sought a need to improve the traffic flow on Broadway Street in North Little Rock. Weaver-Bailey was awarded the $4 million contract to widen just under a mile of Broadway Street to 5 lanes. The widening occurred between Locust Street and Cornish Street and the result of the construction was greatly improving traffic flow around Verizon Arena. As part of the construction, was various drainage and signal upgrades along with 9" thick concrete paving.

Project: North/South Grady (Lincoln County)

Location: Grady, AR

Year: 2008

Detail: The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department awarded Weaver-Bailey the $12 million contract to construct 7.92 miles of Highway 65 near Grady, AR. This project had multiple components including the Earthwork, Subgrade preparation, Base Course and Asphalt Shoulders. The project also required approximately 114,544 sq. yards of 9" thick concrete paving.

Project: I-40 McCain Blvd. & Wildwood - Kiehl Ave.

Location: North Little Rock, AR

Year: 2005

Detail: The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department awarded Weaver-Bailey the $34 million contract to widen to Interstate 40 to McCain Blvd. and from Wildwood Avenue to Kiehl Avenue.  The project included construction of a new median barrier wall, overpass and a new connector road.

Location: North Little Rock, AR

Year: 2003

Detail: The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department awarded the joint venture between Weaver-Bailey and Jensen Construction, the $57 million contract to expand a section of I-40 from four to six lanes. The project also included construction of three new overpasses.

Year: 2004

Detail: The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department awarded Weaver-Bailey the project to construct on/off ramps along three interchanges and 10.3 miles of Hwy. 67 North of Newport in Jackson County.

 

Adams Field Municipal Airport

Location: Little Rock, AR

Detail: The Little Rock Arkansas Airport awarded Weaver-Bailey the contract to construct a 15” thick taxi-way and an accompanying aircraft parking apron. The total concrete poured on this job was approximately 60,000 square yards.

Project: I-40 & I-440 Ramp Rehabilitation

Location: Little Rock, AR

Year: 2006

Detail: The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department awarded Weaver-Bailey a ramp removal and replacement contract along the I-440 interstate. The contract also called for concrete patching and joint work which was required to be performed over a weekend.

Project: Little Rock Municipal Airport - Runway 4R Extension - Stage 1

Location: Little Rock, AR

Year: 2004

Detail: The Little Rock Airport awarded Weaver-Bailey the contract to extend runway 4R as a part of the first phase of the project. The construction included earthwork, drainage, electrical and other utilities along with the concrete pavement.

Year: 2004

Detail: The North Little Rock Airport commission awarded a project to pave the Runway 5 Holding Apron to Weaver-Bailey. This project included earthwork, subgrade as well as the paving.

Detail: The Little Rock Airport Commission awarded a project to rehabilitate one of the Cargo Ramp Trench Drains as well as the Cargo Ramps to Weaver-Bailey.

Location: North Little Rock, AR

Year: 2006

Detail: The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department awarded Weaver-Bailey the $9 million contract to construct 1.571 miles of the northbound lanes of Hwy 67. The project also included the widening of an entrance ramp, replacement of one main lane bridge and extension of two R.C. box culverts in Jacksonville.

 

Cudd Industrial Park Infrastructure

Location: Vilonia, AR

Year: 2007

Detail: The City of Vilonia awarded Weaver-Bailey the contract to construct a new Industrial park within the city. The project included installation of water and sewer utilities as well as the construction of a 2,300 ft. x 32 ft. concrete street which was 9” thick.

 

Glenn Hills Subdivision

Location: Sherwood, AR

Detail: Weaver-Bailey was awarded the contract to perform the construction of Glenn Hills Subdivision which included construction of the water and sewer utilities, drainage systems and the streets.

 

Pine Bluff Bypass/Highway 65

Location: Pine Bluff, Jefferson County, AR

Year: 1997

Detail: Weaver-Bailey was awarded the contract to construct 7 miles along I-530 from U.S. Hwy 65 to U.S. Hwy 79 in Pine Bluff.

 

Hwy 67 - 167 (Bald Knob)

Location: Bald Knob, AR

Year: 1998

Detail: The Arkansas Highway Department was awarded the contract to re-construct a 4 mile stretch along Hwy. 167 between Bald Knob and Judsonia in Central Arkansas.

 

Fort Smith Airport - Taxiway “A”

Location: Fort Smith, AR

Detail: Weaver-Bailey was awarded the contract to construct the Fort Smith Airport Taxiway “A”

 

Little Rock Airport - Taxiway “F”

Location: Little Rock, AR

 

I-540 Construction (Phase II)

Location: I-540 (Northwest Arkansas)

Year: 1999

 

Marion Intermodal (Union Pacific)

Location: Marion, AR

Year: 1998

Detail: Union Pacific awarded Weaver-Bailey the contract to construct its Intermodal facility in Marion, AR. The project was $16 million and consisted of 650,000 square yards of concrete paving. It was noted as the largest paving job in Arkansas.

 

Hope Municipal Airport

Location: Hope, AR

Year: 2005

Detail: Weaver-Bailey, as a subcontractor, was awarded the contract to construct the Hope Municipal Airport. The construction involved a Parallel South Taxiway Extension.

 

I-540 Construction (Phase I)  

Location: I-540 (Northwest Arkansas)

Detail: The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department awarded Weaver-Bailey the contract to construct 4 miles of I-540 from Frog Bayou to Mountainburg in Northwest Arkansas.
